RBU to start more new job-oriented courses

Mohali : The Rayat Bahra Group of Institutions has drawn up an ambitious scheme to introduce more new job- oriented courses in different schools of the Rayat Bahra University. Gurvinder Singh Bahra, Chancellor of the Rayat Bahra University, disclosing this here today said that a panel of experts had been constituted which would recommend new courses which would make the students employment ready even before they pass out their academic courses and also stand them in good stead in placements.
He said that the University School of Medical and Allied Sciences has started postgraduate and undergraduate courses in radiology and imaging technology, dialysis technology, medical laboratory technology, operation theatre and anaesthesia technology. Bahra said that the Rayat Bahra University had carved out a niche for itself among the top universities of the country and over the years it had emerged as a favorite choice of admission seekers not only from different states of the country but also abroad.
Bahra said the Rayat Bahra University has introduced a large number of new age courses in collaboration with top multinational companies to increase the employment potential of the students. The University, one of the best in this part of the country, offers attractive scholarship schemes, has the highest placement record, and has ultramodern facilities available for its students.
He said that the university had state of the art classrooms and laboratories. The hostels had all modern amenities and an adequate security system. Meanwhile, the Chancellor extended his best wishes to the staff and students of the university for the New Year.
