Harbhajan Singh ETO handover appointment letters to 49 Safai Karamcharis

Amritsar : The Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann led Punjab Government has provided employment to more than 30 thousand youth till now during its tenure of one and a half year. Punjab Power and PWD Minister Harbhajan Singh ETO said this while awarding appointment letters to 49 Safai Karamcharis (cleaning workers) at Municipal Council Jandiala Guru, here today.
He said that earlier these Safai Karamcharis were working on outsource basis, and now they have been given appointment letters on contract basis. He said that the salary of these employees will be given by the city council.
Interacting with the media on this occasion, Harbhajan Singh ETO said that the Jandiala Constituency has witnessed a series of development works during the last one and a half year. He said that the leaders of the opposition parties should dare to list out what their MLAs have done for the constituency during their tenure.
He said that the Mann government has initiated development works across the state without any discrimination against anyone. He said that he has been focused on developing the constituency by rising above the party line rather than opting petty politics of getting false FIRs or cases registered against opponents.
He said that be it education or health, in a short period the current state government has initiated development in every field. The power minister said that the Mann government has been delivering the benefit of government schemes to every section of the society.
He said that facilities like 600 units of free electricity and free treatment at Aam Admi clinics have been provided to each section without any discrimination. He said that schools of eminence are being established around the state to ensure quality education to the students so that our next generations can compete at global level.
