Reasi : An exposure visit of 20 farmers under MIDH was today flagged off by Deputy Commissioner Reasi Babila Rakwal to Horticulture Research Station Udheywala and Hi-tech Poly house for protective cultivation at Directorate of Agriculture Jammu.Chief Agriculture Officer, Harbans Singh and Sub Division Agriculture officer and concerned Agriculture Extension officials were also present.
The purpose of this visit is to expose the participants to best practices, advanced technologies and successful models in vegetables and Horticulture to enhance their knowledge and skills. The participants would get practical insight into modern Horticulture practices and technologies and successful Horticulture models and value addition techniques.
It further aims to encourage the adoption of sustainable and profitable Agriculture and Horticulture practices. The tour is accompanied by Kewal Krishan SMS SDL, Girdhari Lal AEA
