Kishtwar Idol auditions begin with enthusiastic participation

Kishtwar : Deputy Commissioner, Devansh Yadav launched the first season of Kishtwar Idol by flagging off the Kishtwar Idol Audition Express from the DC Office Complex today.The first day of auditions for Kishtwar Idol Season 1 was conducted by the District Administration in conjunction with the designated jury team at Government Boys Higher Secondary School.
The audition witnessed huge participation from aspiring singers of all ages. Contestants competed in two categories: below 18 years and 18 plus. Participants showcased a variety of singing styles, from traditional folk music to contemporary pop music. The judges were impressed by the talented 96 participating singers.
The event was organised under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner, Devansh Yadav and supervised by District Information Officer, Kuldeep Kumar in collaboration with mentors, ambassadors and jury members of Kishtwar Idol.
The DC informed that the Kishtwar Idol Audition Express will carry jury members and mentors to different locations on scheduled dates and venues where aspiring singers can take auditions at their doorstep.
Among those present were Kuldeep Kumar, DIO Kishtwar; Sajjad Khan, DySP DAR; Prehlad Bhagat, CEO Kishtwar; jury members and mentors of Kishtwar Idol; team members and media persons.
The support from jury members including Sajjad Khan, Sanjeev Kumar and Bhavna Dubey; mentors including Mushtaq Kishtwari, Bansi Lal, Farooq Bakshi, Rajesh Kumar and Awani Sen was appreciated by the District Administration.The selected participants will move to the next round to demonstrate their singing abilities further.
