Hoshiarpur : IAS officer Vishesh Sarangal today assumed office as Additional Deputy Commissioner (General), Hoshiarpur.After assuming the charge here at District Administrative Complex, a 2013-batch officer of Indian Administrative Services Vishesh Sarangal said that it is high time to save precious lives from COVID-19 pandemic and far more efficacious management of this deadly virus would be his focused area. Apart from this, the issues pertaining to public and prompt delivery of citizen services will also be accorded foremost priority, he added. Vishesh Sarangal, who was  earlier ADC (D) at Jalandhar, also stated that with decline in the cases of infection the pace of ongoing works and projects in Hoshiarpur would also be expedited to facilitate masses. He said that efforts would be made to further strengthen the governance reforms with delivery of services in all Sewa Kendras within stipulated time frame. He also asked the officers/officials to perform their respective duties with utmost dedication and professional commitment so that maximum people could get the requisite services from their offices.Earlier, Sarangal had also served as SDM Malout, Additional Commissioner at Ludhiana, CEO Smart City Jalandhar, Additional Commissioner MC Jalandhar and ADC (D) Amritsar. Pertinently, Vishesh Sarangal did his B. Tech in Electronics and Communications from Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology, Patiala and MBA from Indian Institute of Technology, Mumbai.
