Chants of ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’ and ‘Pakistan Murdabad’ Echo at Sector 17 Plaza

Sector 17 Plaza transformed into a patriotic hub today as a special public event was held in support of ‘Operation Sindoor’ by the Indian Army. The air was filled with chants of “Bharat Mata Ki Jai,” “Pakistan Murdabad,” “Jai Hind,” and “Inquilab Zindabad.”

Approximately 2,500 citizens participated in the Tiranga Yatra, waving the national flag in solidarity with the Indian armed forces. People of all ages, including youth, women, senior citizens, and ex-servicemen, joined the event to express their unwavering respect and support.

The event was attended by Chandigarh President Jitender Pal Malhotra, Rajya Sabha MP Satnam Singh Sandhu, former president Sanjay Tandon, Mayor Harpreet Kaur Babla, and former president Arun Sood, among other dignitaries. They praised the courage, discipline, and sacrifice of the Indian Army, describing it as the nation’s true strength.

Chandigarh residents declared that they will not be intimidated by Pakistan’s threats. Citizens recalled the recent attempts by Pakistan to harm innocent civilians and send terrorists across the border, lauding the Indian Army for its firm and bold response.

Under ‘Operation Sindoor’, the Army targeted and destroyed multiple terrorist hideouts operating within Pakistan. Speakers emphasized that the operation was not just a military success, but also a symbol of national pride and self-respect.

Through the Tiranga Yatra, the people of Chandigarh showcased unity and resolve. The event stood as a powerful message that the Indian public stands firmly behind its Army and is ready to face any threat to national security.
