Vijay Inder Singla lays foundation of road to be constructed worth Rs. 2.67 crore

Punjab Public Works Minister Vijay Inder Singla, on Monday, laid the foundation of three roads to be constructed with the estimated cost of Rs. 2.67 crore, here at Kulrian village near Bareta town. After the foundation laying ceremony, the cabinet minister informed that roads connecting Kulrian to Chandpura, Kulrian to Babbanpur and Kulrian to Nawa Gaon connecting Dandian Wala Peer will be going under special repair works.

Kulrian (Mansa) : Punjab Public Works Minister Vijay Inder Singla, on Monday, laid the foundation of three roads to be constructed with the estimated cost of Rs. 2.67 crore, here at Kulrian village near Bareta town. After the foundation laying ceremony, the cabinet minister informed that roads connecting Kulrian to Chandpura, Kulrian to Babbanpur and Kulrian to Nawa Gaon connecting Dandian Wala Peer will be going under special repair works. During his visit to the village, Mr. Singla also inaugurated a public park here at village Kulrian.Mr. Vijay Inder Singla said that a total stretch of 2.40 km connecting Punjab-Haryana Border to Kulrian would be constructed under NABARD scheme which would benefit more than 20 villages of Budhlaha subdivision. He added that in view of the pathetic condition of roads, the residents of the region appealed to them for the construction of these roads and after getting nod from CM Captain Amarinder Singh, he immediately ordered special repair of these roads.Mr. Singla added that the road connecting Badarpur to Daska will also be widened to 18 feet.On this occasion, MLA Najar Singh Manshahia, DC Mohinderpal, SDM Sagar Setia, Chairman Zila Parishad Bikram Mofar, Chairman Market Committee Gian Chand Singla, Kulwant Rai Singla, Ranjit Kaur Bhatti and Chairman Block Samiti Karamjit Kaur were also present.
