22nd Nirankari Baba Gurbachan Singh Memorial Cricket Tournament Concludes

Samalkha : By the immense grace of Satguru Mata Sudiksha Ji Maharaj, the 22nd Nirankari Baba Gurbachan Singh Memorial Cricket Tournament successfully concluded today, at the Sant Nirankari Spiritual Complex, Samalkha, Haryana. This tournament started on 19th March, 2022 in which, 115 teams were registered from almost all the states of the country, out of which mainly 48 teams were selected and were enriched with experiences and important learning’s through the medium of sports. This information was given by the Sant Nirankari Mandal, Mrs. Rajkumari Ji, Member Incharge of Press and Publicity Department.

 

In this tournament, all the players showed their youthful energy as well as a beautiful introduction of discipline, dignity and tolerance, which is the need of the hour. Today, where every human being is causing pain to one another and is engaged only in causing harm, at such a time, taking inspiration from the teachings of Satguru Mata Sudiksha Ji Maharajis such a wonderful example of love and companionship in this tournament. The performance by the players in this is definitely commendable.There wasn’t any kind of jealousy or a feeling of discouraging each other but, only mutual harmony and peace was seen amongst them. All the players performed brilliantly well in the tournament for which they were awarded with certificates. Apart from this, the player who performed best in the daily match was awarded ‘the man of the match’.A Satsang programme was organized every evening with the aim to provide the playersspiritual awakening and mental peace along with their physical fitness.

 

Teams from four states were selected in the semifinal of this tournament – Mumbai-1, Amritsar, Rohtak and Mohali. Today,in the final round of the tournament between Mumbai -1 and Amritsar; Mumbai – 1 carried the trophy and Arun Yadav from Mumbai -1 team was honored with ‘the man of the series’title.This tournament concluded with a prize distribution ceremony which was webcast live through the Zoom app for all the teams who were registered (a total of 115 teams), their managers and the captains were also included in the ceremony by thiszoom link. A few of the executive members of Sant Nirankari Mandal were present for the prize distribution ceremony in which Secretary of Sant Nirankari Mandal, Shri Joginder Sukhija Ji, Shri Vinod Vohra Ji (Member Incharge, Foreign Affairs, Sewadal and Branches of Delhi NCR), Shri Joginder Manchanda ji (Member Incharge, Finance Department), Shri Narender Singh ji (Vice Chairman of Central Planning and Advisory Board) and Shri O.P. Nirankari ji (Mukhya Sanchalak, Sewadal) gave trophy to the winning team and certificates to all.
