Sant Nirankari Mission organises Blood Donation Camp, 109 Nirankari donors donate blood

Chandigarh : With the divine blessing of Satguru Mata Sudiksha Ji Maharaj, a Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation organised a Blood Donation Camp at Sant Nirankari Bhawan, Sector 15-D. 109 devotees donated blood during this camp. A 12-member team from P.G.I.M.E.R Chandigarh was present during the camp to collect units of blood.The camp was inaugurated by Central Planning & Advisory Board , Member of Sant Nirankari Mandal, Smt Joginder Kaur Ji, Smt Gurbachan Kaur Padda Ji and Shri Parminder Rai Ji, IPS (Retd.) Haryana. They motivated the blood donors assembled for the donation camp and appreciated this selfless and true service to the welfare of humanity.

On this occasion, Smt Joginder Kaur Ji said that Sant Nirankari Mission organised the first Blood Donation Camp in November, 1986 at the annual Sant Nirankari Sant Samagam, where Baba Hardev Singh Ji inaugurated this camp, giving a message to humanity that ‘human blood should flow in veins, not in drains.’ The devotees and sevadars of the Nirankari Mission, giving a realisation to this message, are always driven towards the service to humanity. Their selfless service to humanity is also continually evident during the tumultuous times of the corona virus pandemic.Also present at the blood donation camp were Zonal incharge, Sanyojak, Mukhi, Khetriya Sanchalak, and other dignitaries. Mukhi Shri S.S Banga Ji expressed his gratitude towards all guests, devotees, the team of doctors, and donors. He also said during this occasion that towards its selfless service to humanity, Sant Nirankari Mission constantly engages in several activities, some of which are Cleanliness Drives, Plantation Drives, free of cost treatment and consultation centres, free of cost eye check up and care and treatment camps, helping the needy during natural calamities, etc. The Mission has been lauded and awarded by State governments from time to time, for all its services.
