Tarn Taran : Ravinder Singh Brahmpura, former MLA of Khadoor Sahib and legislative constituency in-charge for the Shiromani Akali Dal, organized a highly successful blood donation camp today. The noble act, celebrated as SAD Bhavna Divas, in commemoration the birth anniversary of the esteemed leader Fakhr-e-Quam Sardar Parkash Singh Badal.
Throughout his tenure as Chief Minister of Punjab, Sardar Badal dedicated himself tirelessly towards providing essential facilities for all sections of our beloved state. On this occasion, talking to the media Brahmpura expressed his concern about the rampant corruption that plagues the (AAP) Aam Aadmi Party. How bribery has unfortunately become a norm in every department of Delhi, urging everyone to contemplate on whether such circumstances would improve the conditions in Punjab,” he stated.
He further highlighted the accusations against Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann for robbing the treasury for personal gains. Recent actions have revealed the use of Punjab’s funds, through air travel, to campaign for Arvind Kejriwal and his colleagues in assembly elections of Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Chattisgarh. Nevertheless, in that polls, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has received fewer votes in comparison to the ‘None of the Above’ (NOTA) option.
Brahmpura labelled these actions as unjustifiable and detrimental to the prosperity of the state. Brahmpura also noted the Mohalla Clinic initiative’s reliance on buildings constructed by the then SAD government, while lacking noticeable developmental work. The AAP has shifted our model from Seva Kendra to Mohala Clinic, but still the facilities there are equivalent to annihilation.
He expressed disappointment at witnessing such disregard for progress and the needs of our citizens. He emphasized the (SGPC) Shiromani Gurudwara Parbandhak Committee’s unwavering support for the Sikh community’s ongoing efforts to secure the release of the imprisoned Bandi Singhs, acknowledging their dedication and the noble cause they represent.
Under the leadership of Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami, all possible efforts are being made to the Central Government regarding the release of the ‘Bandi Singhs’, he added. Brahmpura implored each individual to unite with the Shiromani Akali Dal, strengthen the party, and secure victory in the upcoming 2024 Lok Sabha polls.
The future of Punjab lies solely in the hands of the Akali Dal under the visionary leadership of Sardar Sukhbir Singh Badal and Bikram Singh Majithia. As elections approach, political parties make false promises to our Punjab like the AAP, he urged everyone to remain steadfast in their dedication to the SAD and its principles, ” he added.
Brahmpura highlighted the lack of development in his constituency, Khadoor Sahib, expressing disappointment in the local administration’s failure to address the essence of the common man’s needs. He cited instances of harassment faced by the people due to this neglect. It is worth mentioning here that family members, including Ravinder Kaur Brahmpura, the wife of former MLA Brahmpura, have admirably contributed by donating blood in this blood donation camp.
