Shemrock School’s organized 33rd Founders Day, students showcased their talent

Mohali : The two days of gala evenings organized at Shemrock Senior Secondary School Sector 69, Rhyme and Rhythm as the students celebrated their 33rd Founders Day. The students danced their way into the hearts of the audience. The program began with the lamp lighting ceremony done by reverend Principal, Prineet Sohal.

This event was held under the theme “Incredible India – 75 years of glory” well resonates with patriotic reverence as the country celebrates its Glorious 75 years of Indian Independence.The class performances were selected and choreographed by their class teachers whose efforts were showcased by their students as they put the stage on fire.

It encapsulated the incredible India in its patriotic mash ups or an effort to heal the world, touching the success stories of Indians who have etched their names in the history of the globe or enlightening people about the sustainability of natural resources or awareness about the policies or the epic, Mahabharata.

Bhangra and Giddha stole the hearts of the audience as the young artists rocked with their rhythmic folk songs. The students also spread a word of awareness through their dances on sensitive issues, Save the Planet–Earth and Save the Girl Child. Parents applauded the efforts of the mentors for this splendid show.

It was also an occasion for awards for all those students who have been relentlessly trying to achieve their goals. Trophies were given to the students for their academic achievement as well as full attendance. MD Karan Bajwa congratulated the students for their glorious achievements and praised the efforts of the students and staff for their wonderful show. Chairman JS Bajwa applauded the efforts of the students and the teachers.
