A Step Toward Making Mohali An IT Hub Of North India

Kharar: On 24th, the IT companies Association organised IT Entrepreneur Summit at Mohali. More than 100+ IT companies have participated in the summit. Mr. Manish Tiwari, Hon’ble Member of Parliament Lok Sabha (MP) attended the summit as Chief Guest. Youth face named Manjot Singh, the General Secretary of Youth Congress Punjab, was also part of this summitt. The main motive of IT Companies Association members to organise this program is to make efforts toward improving basic infrastructure for the IT Industry in Mohali. Mr. Tajinder Singh, the President of IT Association, kept their demands before Hon’ble MP Manish Tiwari on behalf of association.

Making the Mohali an IT Hub of North India was the main among others basic demands. The other demands were including Govt. Operated the skill development centers to meet the demand of skilled manpower for the IT industry, arrange a job fair and rebate in electricity rates. Women contribution is also on a large scale in the IT industry. Considering this point, Association members also demand for women security in the industrial areas. Interacting with the press, President of ITCA says that Mr. Manish Tiwari (MP) has given us assurance to join our hands for IT industry improvement. They will discuss with the Punjab Government to implement the association’s demands. As the IT industry is providing employment to youth at large scale, we are hopeful this step of ITCA will boost up this industry.
