Cooperation Minister exhorts people to use immunity booster Verka’s Haldi Dudh

Jalandhar :  Punjab Cooperation Minister Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa on Friday exhorted the people to use nutritional drink product ‘Verka Haldi Dudh’ produced by Markfed to boost the immunity.On sidelines of the inauguration of PAU’s virtual Kisan Mela, the Minister accompanied by MLA Jalandhar West Sushil Kumar Rinku, Deputy Commissioner Ghanshyam Thori, Randhawa said this nutritious product has medicinal properties of haldi in it which is known as a natural healer and immunity booster.He said that this drink would help to boost the immunity of the people amidst the Covid -19 pandemic and would become popular among the people soon.He said that this drink has been priced at Rs 25 for 200ml. He said that Verka Haldi Dudh had been prepared by using a unique haldi formulation developed by the Department of Biotechnology, Punjabi University, and Patiala.The Minister said that this Verka Haldi Dudh’ immunity booster and healthy product is far much better than the cold drinks.On the occasion, Additional Deputy Commissioner Jasbir Singh, GM Verka Asit Sharma, Congress leader Angad Dutta and others were present.
