Health Minister lays foundation stone for renovation and upgradation of Jal Ghar in Sector 67

Mohali : The foundation stone for renovation and upgrading of Jal Ghar located in Sector 67 of Mohali was laid by Health Minister Balbir Singh Sidhu. Mohali Mayor Amarjit Singh Jeeti Sidhu, Senior Deputy Mayor Amrik Singh Somal, Deputy Mayor Kuljit Singh Bedi, Mohali Municipal Commissioner Kamal Garg were specially present on the occasion.On the occasion Health Minister Mr. Balbir Singh Sidhu said that the boundary wall of this water house was broken which was to be repaired completely and a generator will also to be installed here. The machinery installed here is to be upgraded so that the water from the eight tubewells coming here can be cleaned and purified and supplied to the people of Sector 66 and 67. He said that the entire work would cost Rs. 40 lakhs.It may be recalled that a few days back the Health Minister had also started the work of Water House in Sector 69 which was being renovated and upgraded.Speaking on the occasion Health Minister Mr. Balbir Singh Sidhu said that apart from this, five water boosters would be installed at various places all over Mohali so that the people of Mohali would not face water shortage. Apart from this the machinery of booster in phase 10 Mohali would also be replaced.Health Minister Mr. Sidhu said that people of Mohali would not be allowed to face any problem and crores of rupees were being spent in Mohali especially to ensure clean and pure water supply.
