More than half a dozen former and incumbent councillors of Hoshiarpur joined AAP

Punjab in-charge Jarnail Singh and Cabinet Minister Bram Shanker Jimpa inducted councillors to AAP

Chandigarh : Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Punjab has escalated their preparations for the municipal elections in Punjab. On Wednesday, party was strengthened in Hoshiarpur Municipal Corporation when more than half a dozen former and incumbent councillors joined the Aam Aadmi Party. All the leaders joined the Aam Aadmi Party in the presence of party’s Punjab in-charge Jarnail Singh, Punjab government’s Revenue Minister Bram Shanker Jimpa, party’s state general secretary Harchand Singh Barsat, MLAs Dr Balbir Singh, Raman Arora and Sheetal Angural.Current councillors of Hoshiarpur Municipal Corporation, Monika Katra, Balwinder Kaur and Bimla Devi and former councilors Tirath Singh, Kamal Kataria and Kulminder Singh Hundal were inducted to the Aam Aadmi Party at party headquarters in Chandigarh.

 

Along with them local leaders Balwinder Katra and Manjit Singh also joined AAP.Welcoming all the leaders to the party, Jarnail Singh said that people are continuously joining the Aam Aadmi Party impressed by Arvind Kejriwal’s the politics of work and performance of AAP governments in Delhi as well as Punjab. Just like the assembly elections, the Aam Aadmi Party will register a landslide victory in the upcoming municipal elections and will make its mayors in all the municipal corporations. On this occasion, party’s Hoshiarpur Lok Sabha in-charge Harminder Singh Bakshi, District President Dalip Ohni, District Secretaries Karamjit Kaur, Varinder Sharma Bindu and others were present.
