DC Sakshi Sawhney inaugurates the new Training Equipments at SBI Rural Self Employment Training Institute given by Bank under CSR Activities

Patiala : Deputy Commissioner Patiala Sakshi Sawhney today inaugurated the new Training Equipment given by the State Bank of India to its Rural Self Employment Training Institute (RSETI) situated at Bhadson Road, Patiala.

The training Equipments worth Rs. 5.00 lacs has been given to add the training facilities to the Top Ranked Patiala RSETI which included Equipments related to Bee Keeping, Computerized Accountancy, Beauty Parlor, Jute Bag making and Audio Video aids.

Speaking on the occasion, Sakshi Sawhney said that RSETI is working enormously for residents of rural areas by imparting Skill Training for Entrepreneurship development. She also emphasized the branding and online marketing of the ready products made by RSETI Candidates.

She interacted with the ongoing trainees as well as past trainees of RSETI Patiala under Bee Keeping, Computerized Accountancy, Beauty Parlor Management and Bank Mitra. She also handed over the ISO:9001:2015 certificate to the RSETI Patiala for excellence in working.

It is pertinent to mention it here that SBI RSETI Patiala has been ranked first amongst all 17 RSETIs working in different Districts of Punjab.The Ministry of Rural Development, Govt of India has awarded 200/200 marks in the past two year’s Annual Grading.

Those present on the occasion include Gurpreet Kaur, Chief Manager from SBI, Komal Puri, Manager, Jasbir Singh, Assessor from NAR, Bangalore, Rajiv Sirhindi, Director SBI RSETI, Patiala, Kanwaljit Singh from LDM, Patiala, Navtej Singh Bhatti, DRP, DIC Patiala and staff of RSETI, Chandan Punit Singh, Baljinder Singh, Amanpreet Sharma, Ajay Kumar and Arvind Kumar.
