S.A.S. Nagar : Deputy Commissioner, Aashika Jain inspected the Aam Aadmi Clinic of Phase 5, Mohali today to take stock of its functioning as well as impact in delivery of healthcare services.
On this occasion, she got detailed information from the staff present in the clinic about online registration of patients, medical checkup and recommended lab tests, if required.
Deputy Medical Commissioner, Dr Girish Dogra briefed the DC about the facilities available in the Aam Aadmi Clinics. He was asked to ensure medical check-up, availability of medicine to every person coming here.
She said that the aim of Aam Aadmi Clinics is to provide hassle free, quality treatment, test facilities free of cost to the common people at their door step.
She said that about 34 such clinics in the district are providing free treatment, medicines and tests to the residents.
She also interacted with the people who came there to get them checked up and asked about the improvements that could be made in the functioning of the clinics.
On this occasion, the clinic In charge Dr Parul Guglani, Pharmacy Officer Rupinder Kaur and Clinical Assistant Praveen Kaur were also present.
