Phase 3B1 Community Health Center to be completed by August : Balbir Singh Sidhu

Mohali : The Health and Family Welfare Minister Mr. Balbir Singh Sidhu reviewed ongoing construction work of the state-of-the-art Community Health Center (CHC) in Phase 3B1 here today. He gave necessary instructions to the concerned authorities for speedy completion of the building.Speaking on the occasion, the Health minister said that the construction of the hospital building is expected to be completed by August this year at an estimated cost of Rs 12 crore. Mr Sidhu said the long-pending demand of the locals was to upgrade the dispensary to CHC, which is going to be fulfilled very soon. He said It will prove a boon for the locals as it will have quality healthcare facilities. He said that people would not have to go to the District Hospital as most of their ailments would be treated in this hospital. He added that the hospital will have a first-of-its kind Modular Operation Theatre which is being set up at a cost of 25 Lakh rupees. There is no such Operation Theater in any other government hospital in the state. The Health Minister said that high quality materials are being used for the construction of the building.Local Municipal Councilor Kuljit Singh Bedi thanked the Health Minister and said that with his efforts, the state-of-the-art CHCs is being been set up. He said that the Health Minister has fulfilled the long-pending demand of the locals for which the locals are very grateful to him.On the occasion, Harkesh Chand Sharma Machhli Kalan-Political Advisor to the Health Minister and Chairman, Market Committee, Kharar, Kuljit Singh Bedi- Local Councilor, Jaspreet Singh Gill and Paramjit Singh Happy-both Municipal Councilor, Ram Sarup Joshi, Jatinder Anand, Dalbir Singh Retired Kanungo, G.P.S. Gill, S.E. Karandeep Singh Chahal, Rajinder Singh from Punjab Health Systems Corporation, Tilak Raj Sharma, Narendra Modi, Anmol Ratan Bhati, locals and other dignitaries were present.
