DC Kulwant Singh holds meeting with company representatives

Moga : Under the initiatives being taken to beautify Moga City, District Administration and Municipal Corporation have roped in Kansai Nerolac Paints company to give a new look to National Highway crossing through the city. The company has agreed to facelift the bridge and contribute to the development of the city.
After holding a meeting with company representatives, Mr Kulwant Singh, Deputy Commissioner, Moga informed that District Administration and Municipal Corporation has taken many steps to beautify the city in a real sense. He said that National Highway was the main attraction of people visiting this city.
He said that Goindwal Sahib based company Kansai Nerolac Paints Limited has agreed to facelift this bridge under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activity. Apart from the Kansai Nerolac Paints Limited, CT University, Darshan Singh Complex and Macro Global have also promised to contribute to the beautification of other prominent areas of the city like Geeta Bhawan, Akalsar Chowk, Bughipura Chowk, Bus Stand etc.
While appreciating the mentioned companies and institutions, Deputy Commissioner urged other corporate groups to come forward to contribute to the development of District Moga and its residents.
Mr Suresh Verma and Mr Rajiv Bansal representatives of Kansai Nerolac Paints Limited informed that a total ₹ 12 lac amount was to be spent on this project. He said that Paint and Graffiti work will be done on the entire bridge crossing through the city.
This work will start after the rainy season and would be completed within one month of its starting.He said that graffiti work will be done by professional artists.fter the meeting, company representatives along with Municipal Corporation officials visited the various places of the city to identify the areas where work was to be done.
