Manish Tewari dedicated Open Air Gymnasium to the Small Flats Complex in Dhanas Colony

Also donated CCTV system to Jatt Sabha in Manimajra

Chandigarh : Member of Parliament from Sri Anandpur Sahib and former Union Minister for Information & Broadcasting Manish Tewari donated Open Air Gymnasium worth Rs. 5 lacs to the Small Flats Complex in Dhanas Colony at the request of the resident welfare association. Mr. Tewari also donated a Close Circuit TV Camera system worth Rs. 2 lacs to the Jatt Sabha in Manimajra in order to take care of the security interests of the residents of that area.

Speaking on both the occasions, Mr. Tewari emphasized that given the fact that he was born, brought up and went to college, school and university in Chandigarh. He finds it difficult to refuse the genuine requests of people who have worked politically and socially with him over the past 40 years.He further emphasized that whatever he has been abled to achieve in life is primarily because of the grounding he has received during his formative years in Chandigarh in the late in 60’s and in the decade of 70’s.

Tewari retreated that he would continue to work for the welfare of the people as also ensure that larger interest of making Chandigarh hub of economy activity in North India, which could cater to the people of Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and broader region are never out of its side.Among others Jagdeep Chaudhary, former general secretary Haryana Congress, Shashi Shankar Tiwari eminent labour leader of Chandigarh, Wasim Mir, Imran Mansuri, Jatt Sabha President Karm Singh, Surjit Dhillon Vice President, Sanjiv Gaba Distt. Congress President, Matlub Khan, Harish Kumar were also present.
