Chandigarh : The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Punjab termed the the ‘Gal Punjab Di’ program launched by Sukhbir Singh Badal as ‘Gupp Punjab Di’, stating that the people of Punjab understand the lies of Sukhbir Singh Badal very well and during the 2022 elections, will not fall prey to the false promises of this mafia kingpin; and on the contrary, Sukhbir Singh Badal and company will be held accountable for their 10 years of mafia rule.Addressing a press conference at the party headquarters here on Thursday, senior party leader and MLA Aman Arora termed the 13-point program presented by Shiromani Akali Dal (Badal) president Sukhbir Singh Badal, as a bundle of lies and said that Sukhbir Badal must first answer these 14 questions of the people.

These questions are not about the Aam Aadmi Party but about the existence and future of Punjab and its people.

Agriculture: On the issue of anti-agriculture laws and farmers, will Sukhbir Badal explain why Harsimrat Kaur Badal as Cabinet Minister signed the ordinance of the black laws? Can you tell us how many farmers and laborers committed suicide in your state and why your (SAD-BJP) government did not supported any victim family?

Expensive Power: Will Badal tell how much brokerage he took from the private power companies brought to Punjab through deadly deals by sacrificing government thermal plants? As a result, the state has been burdened with an additional burden of Rs 80,000 crore and why do people face power shortages in the summer despite buying very expensive power?

Unemployment: Will Badal tell what he did to end unemployment? During the 10 years of rule, 19,000 industrial units were shut down or relocated to other states. Despite being the Food Processing Minister, Harsimrat Kaur Badal did not bring any industry to Punjab. Why was employment not promoted in government and non-government sectors?

Mafia: Sukhbir Singh Badal, the founder of sand, liquor, transport, cable, land and other mafias in Punjab; when he talks of eradicating ‘mafia’, people laugh. Does Badal think, the people are stupid?

Sacrilege: Will Badal tell in whose government the desecration of Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji took place? Who was the one who ordered the firing on the peaceful protesting sangat in Behbal Kalan? Which family is responsible for the decline of Panthic values and institutions by playing politics in the name of Panth?

Mata Khivi Yojana: Under this, Badal who has made big statement of giving Rs 2,000 per month allowance to women, can he tell where the money will come from. Can he also explain why during his rule even pensions of Rs 500 per month were never paid on time?

 

Financial Crisis: Will Badal disclose the total debt incurred by Punjab and the people during his 15 years of rule? Who is responsible for the debt of Rs 51,000 crore to Rs 1, 92, 000 crore?

Health and Education: How Sukhbir Singh Badal, who destroyed the government health and education infrastructure under a conspiracy during his rule, is pointing fingers at the Kejriwal government’s Delhi model? While the Kejriwal government is getting worldwide acclaim for health and education facilities.

Drugs: Do Badal, who pushed the youth of Punjab into the trap of drugs have the right to speak on the issue of drugs? Everyone knows who the kingpin of the drug mafia is.

Delhi Model: Will Sukhbir Badal take the report card of his 10-year government and seek votes from the people in 2022, as Kejriwal had sought in 2019 with his 5-year report card (performance) and won for the third time?

Immigration: Does a good and wise ruler plan to send young people and educated people out of his kingdom? After IELTS, interest free loan scheme is the pinnacle of brainwashing of the Badals. Why better employment opportunities cannot be provided to the youth in Punjab itself?

33 percent reservation: Will Badal tell that even the 33 percent reservation for admission of students in government schools for medical and professional colleges is not a ‘stupid gossip’? This is because NEET, CLAT and JEE Main examinations are conducted at the national level for admission in such institutions.

Punjabi Youth Reservation: Talking about 75 percent reservation for youth in the private sector, will Sukhbir Badal explain why he did not provide employment to 75 percent people of Punjab in his Hotel Sukhvilla and other businesses.

SYL: Badal, who has been targeting the AAP on the issue of Sutlej-Yamuna Link canal; can he explain why its thorns were sown by Parkash Singh Badal’s government in 1978. Reiterating the AAP’s stand on SYL, Aman Arora said Punjab did not have a single drop of surplus water, nor does it have and neither will it have. The AAP advocates for recovery (price) of water going to other states including Rajasthan.
