Mukerian : Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann on Tuesday expressed profound grief and sorrow over the martyrdom of Punjab Police Constable Amritpal Singh who sacrificed his life in line of duty, while combating the anti-social elements. The Chief Minister said that Constable Amritpal Singh had attained martyrdom while performing his duty at Mukerian.
He said that the state government is solidly with the aggrieved family in this hour of crisis. Bhagwant Singh Mann said that this initiative is in recognition of the immense contribution of this son of soil towards maintaining law and order in the state. Meanwhile, the Chief Minister said that the state government is duty bound to help the families of the cops who sacrifice their life at the altar of the motherland.
He said that all sort of assistance to family of martyr is in consonance with the commitment of the state government to ensure the well being of the soldiers (from Armed forces, paramilitary and Police) and their families. Bhagwant Singh Mann hoped that this humble initiative by the state will go a long way in helping the aggrieved family on one hand and securing their future on the other.

समाज विरोधी तत्वों का मुकाबला करते हुए ड्यूटी के दौरान अपनी जान कुर्बान करने वाले पंजाब पुलिस के कांस्टेबल अमृतपाल सिंह की शहादत पर पंजाब के मुख्यमंत्री भगवंत सिंह मान ने गहरा दुख व्यक्त किया। मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि कांस्टेबल अमृतपाल सिंह ने मुकेरियाँ में अपनी ड्यूटी निभाते हुए शहीदी प्राप्त की। उन्होंने कहा कि राज्य सरकार इस दुख की घड़ी में पीड़ित परिवार के साथ खड़ी है।
भगवंत सिंह मान ने कहा कि यह पीड़ित परिवार का दुख बांटने की विनम्र सी कोशिश है। इस दौरान मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि लोगों की सुरक्षा के लिए अपनी जान कुर्बान करने वाले पुलिस मुलाजिमों के परिवारों की मदद करना राज्य सरकार का पहला फर्ज है।
उन्होंने कहा कि सरकार की सैनिक बलों ( हथियारबंद बलों, अर्ध सैनिक बलों और पुलिस बलों) के जवानों के परिवारों की भलाई यकीनी बनाने की वचनबद्धता के अंतर्गत पीड़ित परिवार की हर मदद की जायेगी। भगवंत सिंह मान ने उम्मीद ज़ाहिर की कि सरकार की तरफ से किया गया यह प्रयास एक तरफ़ पीड़ित परिवार की मदद करेगा और दूसरी तरफ़ उनका भविष्य सुरक्षित करेगा।

ਸਮਾਜ ਵਿਰੋਧੀ ਅਨਸਰਾਂ ਦਾ ਮੁਕਾਬਲਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਡਿਊਟੀ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਆਪਣੀ ਜਾਨ ਕੁਰਬਾਨ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਦੇ ਕਾਂਸਟੇਬਲ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਹਾਦਤ ‘ਤੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਮਾਨ ਨੇ ਡੂੰਘੇ ਦੁੱਖ ਪ੍ਰਗਟਾਵਾ ਕੀਤਾ। ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਕਾਂਸਟੇਬਲ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਮੁਕੇਰੀਆਂ ਵਿਖੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਡਿਊਟੀ ਨਿਭਾਉਂਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਸ਼ਹੀਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕੀਤੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਸੂਬਾ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਇਸ ਦੁੱਖ ਦੀ ਘੜੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੀੜਤ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਖੜ੍ਹੀ ਹੈ।
ਭਗਵੰਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਮਾਨ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਪੀੜਤ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਦਾ ਦੁੱਖ ਵੰਡਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਨਿਮਾਣੀ ਜਿਹੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਲਈ ਆਪਣੀ ਜਾਨ ਕੁਰਬਾਨ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਮੁਲਾਜ਼ਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਮਦਦ ਕਰਨਾ ਸੂਬਾ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦਾ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਫ਼ਰਜ਼ ਹੈ।
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੀ ਸੈਨਿਕ ਬਲਾਂ (ਹਥਿਆਰਬੰਦ ਬਲਾਂ, ਅਰਧ ਸੈਨਿਕ ਬਲਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਬਲਾਂ) ਦੇ ਜਵਾਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਭਲਾਈ ਯਕੀਨੀ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਵਚਨਬੱਧਤਾ ਤਹਿਤ ਪੀੜਤ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਦੀ ਹਰ ਮਦਦ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ। ਭਗਵੰਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਮਾਨ ਨੇ ਉਮੀਦ ਜ਼ਾਹਰ ਕੀਤੀ ਕਿ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਇਹ ਉਪਰਾਲਾ ਇਕ ਪਾਸੇ ਪੀੜਤ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਦੀ ਮਦਦ ਕਰੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਦੂਜੇ ਪਾਸੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਭਵਿੱਖ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਅਤ ਕਰੇਗਾ।
