Punjab Government is Connecting Youth With Rich Punjabi Culture Through Heritage Fairs : Anmol Gagan Mann

Ludhiana : Tourism and Cultural Affairs Minister Anmol Gagan Maan on Wednesday said that the state government was committed to revitalising the Punjab’s glorious heritage and culture by organizing traditional fairs/festivals in different parts of the state throughout the year.
Underscoring the need for abreast the younger generation, the Minister said that to showcase Punjab’s rich cultural heritage, the Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann had given clear directions to celebrate the traditional fairs/festivals with great pomp and show in every nook and corner of the state to make Rangla Punjab.
She said that there was no dearth of funds for this work and unprecedented efforts were being made by the government to exhibit the old and traditional culture of Punjab.Mann was addressing the people on the third and last day of the Kila Raipur Rural Olympics 2024.
The Minister said that the government had released Rs 1 crore for holding these world famous games this year and more grant would be given to further take these games to new levels.Showering compliments on the district administration Ludhiana and organizing committee for the success of the mega event, Mann envisioned that these games would go a long way in transforming the destiny of youth from the rural areas.
She also complimented all the officers for making strenuous efforts to evolve a foolproof mechanism for organizing this mega event. On the occasion, the Chief Guest also felicitated the winning players. She also visited the stalls by Self Help Groups set up in the culture and heritage exhibition depicting scenery of old rural Punjab.
Meanwhile, with the promise to meet again next year, the three-day rural sports fest culminated here. On the last day, the matches of hockey (Semifinal and Final), 400-m race (girls and boys), Kabbadi circle (Semifinal and Final), 100-m race (Male above 75, 80), 100-m race (Girls and Boys), cycling and others.
A special Taekwondo show by team of International level coach Satwinder Singh was performed by a group of school students from Patiala.The musical performance by renowned Punjabi singer Amrit Mann also enthralled the people in the stadium.

ਸੈਰ ਸਪਾਟਾ ਅਤੇ ਸੱਭਿਆਚਾਰਕ ਮਾਮਲਿਆਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਅਨਮੋਲ ਗਗਨ ਮਾਨ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਸੂਬਾ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਸਾਲ ਭਰ ਸੂਬੇ ਦੇ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਹਿੱਸਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਵਾਇਤੀ ਮੇਲੇ/ਤਿਉਹਾਰਾਂ ਦਾ ਆਯੋਜਨ ਕਰਕੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਾਨਦਾਰ ਵਿਰਸੇ ਅਤੇ ਸੱਭਿਆਚਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਮੁੜ ਸੁਰਜੀਤ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਵਚਨਬੱਧ ਹੈ। ਨੌਜਵਾਨ ਪੀੜ੍ਹੀ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਣੂ ਕਰਵਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਲੋੜ ‘ਤੇ ਜ਼ੋਰ ਦਿੰਦਿਆਂ ਕੈਬਨਿਟ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਅਮੀਰ ਸੱਭਿਆਚਾਰਕ ਵਿਰਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਦਰਸਾਉਣ ਅਤੇ ਸੂਬੇ ਨੂੰ ਰੰਗਲਾ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਮਾਨ ਨੇ ਸੂਬੇ ਦੇ ਕੋਨੇ-ਕੋਨੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਵਾਇਤੀ ਮੇਲਿਆਂ/ਤਿਉਹਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਧੂਮ-ਧਾਮ ਨਾਲ ਮਨਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਸਪੱਸ਼ਟ ਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਹਨ।
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਕੰਮ ਲਈ ਫੰਡਾਂ ਦੀ ਕੋਈ ਘਾਟ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਪੁਰਾਣੇ ਅਤੇ ਰਵਾਇਤੀ ਸੱਭਿਆਚਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਿਤ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਬੇਮਿਸਾਲ ਉਪਰਾਲੇ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਕੈਬਨਿਟ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਮਾਨ ਕਿਲਾ ਰਾਏਪੁਰ ਰੂਰਲ ਓਲੰਪਿਕ 2024 ਦੇ ਤੀਜੇ ਅਤੇ ਆਖਰੀ ਦਿਨ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਬੋਧਨ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ। ਕੈਬਨਿਟ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਇਸ ਸਾਲ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿਸ਼ਵ ਪ੍ਰਸਿੱਧ ਖੇਡਾਂ ਦੇ ਆਯੋਜਨ ਲਈ 1 ਕਰੋੜ ਰੁਪਏ ਜਾਰੀ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਖੇਡਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹੋਰ ਨਵੀਆਂ ਲੀਹਾਂ ‘ਤੇ ਲਿਜਾਣ ਲਈ ਹੋਰ ਗਰਾਂਟ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ।
ਇਸ ਮੈਗਾ ਈਵੈਂਟ ਦੀ ਸਫਲਤਾ ਲਈ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਾਸਨ ਲੁਧਿਆਣਾ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਕੀ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਲਾਘਾ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਕੈਬਨਿਟ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਮਾਨ ਨੇ ਆਸ ਪ੍ਰਗਟਾਈ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਖੇਡਾਂ ਪੇਂਡੂ ਖੇਤਰ ਦੇ ਨੌਜਵਾਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਕਿਸਮਤ ਨੂੰ ਬਦਲਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੇਹੱਦ ਸਹਾਈ ਸਿੱਧ ਹੋਣਗੀਆਂ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਇਸ ਖੇਡ ਮੇਲੇ ਦੇ ਸਫਲ ਆਯੋਜਨ ਲਈ ਯਤਨਸ਼ੀਲ ਸਾਰੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਵੀ ਸ਼ਲਾਘਾ ਕੀਤੀ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਮਹਿਮਾਨ ਨੇ ਜੇਤੂ ਖਿਡਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਨਮਾਨਿਤ ਵੀ ਕੀਤਾ।
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਪੁਰਾਣੇ ਪੇਂਡੂ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਨਜ਼ਾਰਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਦਰਸਾਉਂਦੀ ਸੱਭਿਆਚਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਰਾਸਤੀ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਵੈ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਸਮੂਹਾਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਲਗਾਏ ਗਏ ਸਟਾਲਾਂ ਦਾ ਵੀ ਦੌਰਾ ਕੀਤਾ।ਇਸ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਅਗਲੇ ਸਾਲ ਦੁਬਾਰਾ ਮਿਲਣ ਦੇ ਵਾਅਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਇੱਥੇ ਤਿੰਨ ਰੋਜ਼ਾ ਪੇਂਡੂ ਖੇਡ ਮੇਲਾ ਸਮਾਪਤ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ। ਆਖਰੀ ਦਿਨ ਖੇਡ ਮੁਕਾਬਲਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਾਕੀ (ਸੈਮੀਫਾਈਨਲ ਅਤੇ ਫਾਈਨਲ), 400 ਮੀਟਰ ਦੌੜ (ਲੜਕੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਲੜਕੇ), ਕਬੱਡੀ ਸਰਕਲ (ਸੈਮੀਫਾਈਨਲ ਅਤੇ ਫਾਈਨਲ), 100 ਮੀਟਰ ਦੌੜ (75, 80 ਤੋਂ ਉੱਪਰ ਪੁਰਸ਼), 100 ਮੀਟਰ ਦੌੜ ( ਲੜਕੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਲੜਕੇ), ਸਾਈਕਲਿੰਗ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਸਨ।
ਇੰਟਰਨੈਸ਼ਨਲ ਪੱਧਰ ਦੇ ਕੋਚ ਸਤਵਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੀ ਟੀਮ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਤਾਈਕਵਾਂਡੋ ਸ਼ੋਅ ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਦੇ ਸਕੂਲੀ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਗਰੁੱਪ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ।ਸਟੇਡੀਅਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਪ੍ਰਸਿੱਧ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਗਾਇਕ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਮਾਨ ਦੀ ਸੰਗੀਤਕ ਪੇਸ਼ਕਾਰੀ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਮਨ ਮੋਹ ਲਿਆ।
