Farmers turning against Congress leaders over Captain’s exposure in RTI on black laws: Raghav Chadha

Chandigarh : Reacting strongly to the statement made by Congress MP Ravneet Singh Bittu after the farmers had protested against him on Sunday, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) stated that the farmers were turning against the Congress leaders and that the protest was done by ‘Aam Aadmi’ and not by the AAP. During a press conference convened at the party headquarters here on Monday, party’s state co-in charge Raghav Chadha and youth wing co-president Anmol Gagan Mann said that Ravneet Singh Bittu was opposed only because of the statements he had made against the farmers.They said that under a well thought out conspiracy Bittu first made statements against the farmers and later joined them, so that the farmers would somehow get out of control. The leaders said that when Bittu was opposed by the farmers, he started blaming others. They said that it was under this, that Bittu linked the protest by the farmers with the Aam Aadmi Party. “We want to point out that the Aam Aadmi Party has no hand in this protest. Those who have opposed it are common people,” the leaders said, adding, “We have been saying since day one that AAP is only working for the farmers. Whatever activity is going on there is being done as per the decision of the farmers themselves.”They said that Bittu and his party were trying to defame the farmers by colluding with Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led central government. “We have been telling the media and the people for days that both Captain and Modi are hand in glove,” the leaders added. The AAP leaders further said that a press conference was held on Sunday, thus unveiling the raw record of collusion between Captain and Modi with an RTI document.
They said that today due to infatuation for his son, Captain Amarinder handed over the entire Punjab to Modi and then conspired to mislead the people of Punjab in every possible way.The leaders said that the farmers and the people of Punjab had fully understood the alliance between Captain and Modi, who were now working to provoke the people. They added that it was under this conspiracy, that Bittu first made a statement against the farmers and yesterday when he went to the place of farmers’ movement; the farmers vehemently opposed him. “Bittu did not say anything all day yesterday, but when the Aam Aadmi Party exposed collusion between Captain and Modi with RTI documents, he started making false allegations against AAP at the behest of Captain, stating that AAP has made the attack on him,” the leaders said.”We want to make it clear to Captain and to the Congress party that AAP has nothing to do with this attack,” said Chadha. He said that if anyone was responsible for what happened yesterday then it was Congress party, Ravneet Bittu and Captain himself. “A few days ago, Ravneet Bittu crossed the line of shamelessness and made all false statements against the farmers’ movement. People now know that Captain government is a fake government,” added Chadha.He further said that the people have now come to know that Captain is not the Chief Minister of the Congress, not of the people of Punjab, but of the BJP. Chadha said now that the Aam Aadmi Party had made it clear, Captain Amarinder had directed his entire party to make statements against the AAP. He said that the Aam Aadmi Party had been speaking in the interest of the farmers from day one, serving the farmers sitting on the border and helping the farmers in every possible way. “This BJP Chief Minister of Punjab is not tolerating this so he is crossing the line of shamelessness and making false allegations against the Aam Aadmi Party,” added Chadha.
