District Red Cross Society and Vishvas Foundation organises Blood Donation Camp at District Administrative Complex

Inauguration ceremony of the camp took place under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner Girish Dayalan 

Under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner Girish Dayalan, District Red Cross Society and Vishvas foundation with the collaboration of HDFC bank organised Blood Donation  Camp at District Administrative Complex sector 76. Camp was organised on the occasion of 551 birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev ji.Deputy Commissioner inaugurated the  camp by lighting the lamp.On the occasion Deputy Commissioner honoured the blood donors with a badge and certificates and called upon people to participate enthusiastically  in the noble cause. DC said that it is the human, moral and social obligation of a healthy person to beready for blood donation. In the time of COVID crisis, every healthy person  should donate blood since there is no other alternative to human  blood. In the  camp 100 people registered to donate blood, out of which 85 blood donors voluntarily donated blood. The purpose of this camp was to raise awareness among people about  blood donation. Assistant Commissioner (G) Mr. Yashpal Sharma, SDM Mr. Jagdeep Sehgal, Red Cross Society Secretary Mr Kamlesh Kaushal, Mr Dipankar Garg PCS were also  present on the occassion.
