Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra Van spreads awareness on Government Schemes GDC Kishtwar

Kishtwar : The Government Degree College Kishtwar, in collaboration with the Ministry of Information, hosted an interactive program to raise awareness about various flagship schemes launched by the Prime Minister of India. The event featured the maiden visit of the Viksit Bharat IEC Van, which captured the attention of over 400 students and staff members.
The program commenced with a warm welcome extended by the Principal Dr. Jyoti Parihar, who emphasized the significance of student participation in nation-building and encouraged them to share their ideas on the Idea Viksit Bharat Mission@2047 portal.
Prof. Prithvi Raj, convener of ViksitBharat@2047cell, delivered a motivating speech, urging students to contribute their best towards the success of the Viksit Bharat mission. The event also featured informative videos displayed on the LED screen of the Viksit Bharat Van, showcasing government policies aimed at transforming Bharat into a developed nation.
A formal vote of thanks was presented by Dr. Sehrish Gazal, who expressed gratitude to the Ministry of Information and CBC for sending the ViksitBharat Sankalp Yatra Van to GDC Kishtwar. The program concluded with a collective pledge by all attendees to make Bharat a developed country by 2047.
As part of the event, IEC materials were distributed among the students, which will play a crucial role in raising awareness about government schemes. Additionally, health camps addressed the community’s health needs by conducting screenings for diseases such as TB, Sickle Cell, and various non-communicable diseases (NCDs) among the students.
