Public grievances redressal Camp held at Gandoh

Chairman DDC urges people to actively participate in Har Ghar Tiranga campaign

Doda : A public grievances redressal camp, as a part of Weekly Block Diwas, was today held here at Sub Divisional Headquarter Gandoh.DDC Chairman, Dhananter Singh Kotwal, Vice Chairperson Sangeeta Rani and Deputy Commissioner Vikas Sharma listened to the issues of public.

The BDC Chairpersons and DDC members highlighted different issues pertaining to the general public. They sought fast-track execution of the ongoing road projects, payment of pending land compensations, payment of pending PMAY installments, issuance of NOCs in favour of landless beneficiaries, payment of Ujjwala subsidies, opening of bank branches, meeting shortage of staff in health, education and revenue departments, repair of Shoran school building, improvement of Gandoh Jai road, and other like issues to which the authorities paid patient hearing.

With regard to the issue of busy schedule of Patwaris in writing of Jamabandies, the DC directed the SDM to frame roster for the Patwaris, while Tehsildars, Naib Tehsildars were asked to conduct regular inspection of education, health and AWC institutions of their respective areas and ensure punctuality of the respective staff.

Responding to the issue of pending installments and landless cases under PMAY, the DC directed the ACD to submit a detailed report in this regard by or before 31st of August so that appropriate action was initiated.

The DC directed the SDM to make a list of ongoing PMGSY projects in the area contractor wise and the latest progress and the action taken against the non performing contractors by the department.

Further, he asked to submit the progress report of FRA cases till date by 15th of August and also directed to ensure zero pendency under FRA cases. In addition to this, Ex En PWD was directed to ensure improvement of Gandoh Jai road for better connectivity.

The Chairman DDC, while addressing the locals, informed them about Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav and Har Ghar Tiranga campaign. He urged them to participate in the campaign with patriotic zeal and enthusiasm.

Listing the schemes and initiatives launched by Union and UT Govt for the welfare of the general public, the Chairman said a number of other projects are in pipeline, which will be initiated in the upcoming days to strengthen the socio economic condition of the general public.

The Block Diwas was also held at other four designated locations, wherein varied services were provided to the locals on the spot, including distribution of domicile certificates, category certificate, revenue extracts, DOB/Death certificates, besides other general certificates including coverage under Ayushmaan Bharat schemes, scholarship schemes etc.

It was informed that 17 domicile certificates, 02 category certificates, 09 revenue certificates, 06 Birth certificates were issued to the eligible beneficiaries during the Block Diwas at all the five locations.

Besides, 08 families were covered under Ayushmaan Bharat and 02 KCC cards were distributed.In addition to this, 43 grievances were received out of which 39 were disposed of on the spot by the concerned line departments.

Among others present during the program were BDC Chairpersons, DDC Councillors, ADCs, SDMs, Tehsildars and other concerned district and sectoral officers in the programs held at different locations.
