Rajouri : Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Om Prakash Bhagat, presided over a comprehensive meeting today to evaluate the progress of work on Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY) projects in the district. The evaluation spanned Phase-I, Phase-II and Phase-III of the PMGSY sector focusing on Rajouri and Budhal divisions.
Reviewing Division wise progress, the meeting was informed that out of 129 schemes sanctioned for Budhal division, 117 are complete while out of 207 projects, 193 have been completed in Rajouri division. Emphasizing completion of all projects, the Deputy Commissioner Om Prakash Bhagat underscored the pivotal importance of upholding stringent quality standards. He said that the infrastructure developed under the PMGSY should align with the highest benchmarks, contributing meaningfully to the socio-economic development of the district.
The call for adherence to quality standards resonates as a strategic approach to guarantee the longevity and effectiveness of the implemented projects.
