DC Doda reviews functioning of Panchayat level centres, vaccination & testing in rural areas

Doda : Deputy Commissioner Doda, Vikas Sharma today reviewed the functioning of Panchayat level Covid Care Centres, besides vaccination and testing process in rural areas here at a meeting of health department, ICDS, and RDD .The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner, Project Officer-ICDS, Assistant Commissioner Development, Chief Medical Officer and other officers and officials of District Covid cell & health department.While reviewing the functioning of Panchayat level CCCs, it was given out that all the 237 centres are fully functional with adequate bedding, basic medicines, Covid management Kits, testing kits etc.The DC directed the ACD to closely monitor the functioning of these Panchayat level centres on a daily basis, and activate the village management committees for better care of Covid Positive patients. He further directed for regular inspection of the working of Panchayat level Covid care centres to ensure better management and monitoring.The Chief Medical Officer was also directed to ensure that testing facilities are available at all 212 medical institutions in the District along with trained manpower and RAT kits. He was further directed to scale up the vaccination in the district by establishing more testing sites in collaboration with the elected representatives of the district.
