Arrangements for I-Day celebrations & Har Ghar Tiranga campaign discussed at Bhaderwah

Bhaderwah (Doda) : Additional Deputy Commissioner, Bhadarwah, Ch. Dil Mir today chaired a meeting to discuss the Independence Day Celebration arrangements here in the Conference Hall of Dak Bungalow Bhadarwah.Launch of Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign from 11th of August to 17th of August was also discussed in detail during the meeting.

The ADC directed the concerned officers to ensure all necessary arrangements viz security, power supply, drinking water etc are put in place well in time. He informed that the main function will be held at New Bus Stand Kotli, where Chief Guest will unfurl the tricolour and shall take salute at the March Past Parade from the contingents of IRP, CRPF, Senior and Junior NCC wings, Government and Private school children.

Similarly, a variety cultural programme by local artists and school children showcasing local culture, tradition and patriotism was also finalised.The meeting also discussed the road map for the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign.

It was apprised that under the aegis of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, the Government has launched “Har Ghar Tiranga” from August 11 to August 17 to encourage people to hoist the National flag at their homes to mark the 75th Independence Day.

The programme aims at invoking a feeling of patriotism in the hearts of people and promoting a sense of respect for the symbols of Independence, he added.The meeting was attended by Tehsildar, SDPO, Commandant 4RR, BDO, the Heads of Higher Secondary Schools and Degree College Bhadarwah, TSWO, AEE Jal Shakti, AEE PDD, AEE PMGSY and other representative officials of various other departments.
