Navin Choudhary lays foundation of Rs 1.40 cr projects at Pyt Kootah

The 2nd leg of B2V3 activities culminated in 80 Panchayats of Kathua amid huge public participation, whileround -3 of activities were kick started in 109 Panchayats today.Principal Secretary, Animal & Sheep Husbandry Navin Kumar Choudhary laid foundation stone of Panchayat Bhawan and Multipurpose Hall at Panchayat Kootah as the Visiting Officer. He said the initiative of taking governance at the doorsteps of the people will accelerate grievance redress, besides keep PRIs abreast with the rural development plans.Principal Secretary handed over keys of PMAY houses to 6 beneficiaries in the Panchayat. He also handed over documents for starting dairy based start up unit to the beneficiaries registered during the B2V3.Earlier he inspected school buildings, lanes of different wards and Tribal basti of the Kootah Panchayat.Responding to the demand for construction of road to Tribal basti, the Principal Secretary asked the PRI members to keep the provision for the same in the Panchayat plan.Meanwhile extensive outreach activities were held in 189 panchayats of the district where Visiting Officers, Front line workers and PRI members engaged in interaction, assessment and planning besides dedicating newly completed works during the day long activities.
