“Business First Portal”: Gautam Jindal and Devinder Kumar got clearances within 15 working days for setting up industrial unit

Mohali : In a leap forward towards ease of doing business, Gautam Jindal Owner of Oriental Foamers Pvt Ltd. and Devinder Kumar Dhir Owner of Feel Organic, were given In principal approval to set up their businesses and got the approval at “Business First Portal”.Deputy Commissioner, Mohali Mrs. Isha Kalia on Friday issued the Certificate In principle approval under the Punjab Right to Business Act- 2020 to Gautam Jindal and Devinder Kumar Dhir for setting up a PU Foam Sheets, Cushion Mattresses and Formaldehyde Chemical respectively in SAS Nagar District. Highlighting the salient features of the Act, Deputy Commissioner said that under this Act, all the NOC’s related to set up a new enterprise would be completed within 15 working days after submitting application on the ‘Business First Portal’.All the formalities and NOC’s related to the New Business/Business start-up would be awarded through this single medium in a record time. She said that the Department of Industries and Commerce have taken this new initiative to promote the business in the state besides providing ease of doing business with the required approvals.

She said that Mr. Gautam Jindal and Mr. Devinder Kumar Dhir have become the 15 and 16 Entrepreneur of the District Mohali who have got all approvals within 15 working Working day after submitting online application.Extending thanks towards the Chief Minister, Punjab after receiving the certificate of approval under Single Window System ‘Business First Portal’ from Deputy Commissioner, these beneficiaries said that it was really like a dream come true within 13 Working days of submitting application through a hassle free mechanism. Deputy Commissioner, SAS Nagar expressed hope that the initiative of the Department of Industry and Commerce of Punjab Government would definitely boost the business in the state by successful implementation of the ‘Punjab Right to Business Act-2020.Deputy Commissioner Isha Kalia added that the Entrepreneurs were feeling happy with the positive policies being formulated by the Punjab Government to give a boost to the industries in the state and giving concessions to the new entrepreneurs. She stated that the Punjab Government has created a pro-industry environment in the state and now the industrial revolution is being brought to the forefront.
