All Promises Will Be Fulfilled : Sangat Singh Gilzian

State’s Holistic Development & Completion Of Major Projects Also A Foremost Priority

Hoshiarpur : Punjab Forest, Wild Life and Labour Minister Sangat Singh Gilzian on Tuesday asserted that the Punjab Government would fulfil each and every promise made with the people of state besides ensuring holistic development in all sectors.The Minister, who arrived in the city first time after swearing in as Cabinet Minister a few days back, took guard of honour from a group of Punjab Police personnel at local PWD rest house, where MLAs and senior Civil and Police officers also gave a warm welcome to Gilzian. While interacting to media persons, the Minister said that Punjab Government led by Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi would ensure new pace of development in the state with the completion of 18 major works. The State Government has more than three-month time for all round development and completion of remaining projects, said that Minister adding that all the works would be commenced and completed within stipulated time frame.

On the issue of demands of farmers’, Gilzian said that the Punjab Government is with farmers and supporting their demands from the day one. He said that Punjab Cabinet expressed solidarity with the farmers over the black farm laws besides extending all possible help to the families of those farmers, who lost their lives amid on-going protests against the said laws. The Minister said that Punjab Government would soon provide appointment letters to the family members of these farmers while the process of providing appointment letters in remaining cases was also being expedited.Prominent amongst those present on the occasion included former Minister Sunder Sham Arora, MLAs namely Dr. Raj Kumar Chabbewal, Pawan Kumar Adia, Arun Dogra and Indu Bala. Apart from these, Deputy Commissioner Apneet Riyait, SSP Amneet Kondal, ADC (G) Vishesh Sarangal, ADC (Urban Development) Aashika Jain, ADC (D) Darbara Singh, District Presidnet of Congress Committee Dr. Kuldeep Nanda and General Secretary of District Congress Rajnish Tandon etc.
