Chandigarh : Haryana Home Minister, Sh. Anil Vij paid floral tributes to Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose at Subhash Park, Ambala Cantonment on the occasion of Parakram Diwas today. He chanted ‘Jaihind’ by doing ‘salute’ in military style in front of the 12 feet tall statue of Netaji. On this occasion, Home Minister said that on the call of Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi, today 23rd January, the birthday of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose is being celebrated as Parakram Diwas and it will continue to be celebrated in future also. It is worth mentioning that the Subhash Park spread over 17 acres is completely dedicated to Netaji, which has been given a new look by the efforts of Home Minister Anil Vij.

On the call of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, this day is celebrated as Parakram Diwas on 23 January and will continue to be celebrated in future also.
We have been celebrating Netaji’s birthday in the park since last 20 years- Anil Vij
Home Minister Sh. Anil Vij said that today on Netaji’s birthday, the whole nation remembering to the Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose. He said that we have been celebrating Netaji’s birthday at Subhash Park for the last 20 years. Haryana’s most beautiful Subhash Park in Ambala dedicated to Netaji, where thousands of people come here every day to take inspiration from him.

Netaji had great thinking, waged an armed war for freedom – Anil Vij
The Home Minister said that many people fought the freedom struggle, but Netaji fought against the British rule, whose sun never set. An armed war was waged against them to liberate India. Netaji had also formed the Azad Hind Government in Singapore, he himself became its Prime Minister and nine countries had given him recognition. Azad Hind Fauj attacked Britishers for redeem Andaman and Nicobar of India and Netaji first hoisted his tricolor on this land of India. Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose had also made his own bank, currency and postage stamps. This was his great thinking, today the whole nation remembering to Netaji.
Congress never mentioned other freedom fighters except loved ones – Anil Vij
Sh. Vij said that the Congress party has never even mentioned all the people who contributed in the freedom struggle except their loved ones. The place which the freedom fighters should have got, the Congress did not get them that place. But, the Bharatiya Janata Party will do this work and give due respect to each and every freedom fighter, unsung heroes in whose memory songs were never sung.

Subhash Park spread over 17 acres, thanks to the Home Minister, the park got a new look
With the efforts of Haryana Home Minister, Sh. Anil Vij, Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Park in Ambala Cantonment has been given a new and modern look. Spread over 17 acres, this park is the first such park in the state which is completely dedicated to Netaji. This park was established about 20 years ago by the efforts of Home Minister Anil Vij. But during the tenure of the Congress government, the condition of the park had reached the verge of plight, but Home Minister Anil Vij started the exercise to change the appearance of the park in 2014 and today this park is one of the most beautiful parks of the state, where people from all over the state come to take a walk and admire its beauty.
