Chandigarh : Haryana’s Home and Health Minister, Sh. Anil Vij, while urging the people of the state today, said that approximately 37 countries in the world are developed, and collectively, we aim to bring our country India into the category of these developed nations. In this series, he stated that no work gets completed without people’s cooperation, so together, we must realize Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of a developed India.
The Home Minister addressed the people as the chief guest in a program held in the village of Garnala in Ambala under the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra. Prior to this, he paid homage to the statue of Martyr Garud Commando Gursevak established in a government school.
Plans are being made keeping the year 2047 in mind – Vij
On this occasion, Home Minister Anil Vij also said that plans are being made keeping the year 2047 in mind, ensuring that all the necessities of the people in the country are fulfilled. He emphasized that collectively, we all have to work under this.
The government and the people have already worked together to make the state ODF, and now we have to collectively fulfill the resolution to make India a developed nation as per Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision.

He said, “Prime Minister Modi is the first Prime Minister who has taken the resolution to make India a developed India. There are three types of nations on this planet: one is an underdeveloped nation where no work has been done, the second is the developing nations like our India, which is continuously progressing, and the third is the developed nations where all kinds of amenities are available, and there are 37 such countries.
We have to take a resolution to include our country in the category of those 37 countries as a developed nation.”
The Home Minister reviewed the stalls
The Home Minister inspected the stalls set up by various departments and gathered information from the relevant officials regarding the information being provided from their departments. He said that if there is any eligible person related to a plan, assistance should be provided to ensure they benefit as per the scheme.
Home Minister also honored meritorious students who have done notable work in various activities, ex-servicemen, or others who have done commendable work in different areas.
Distributed certificates to beneficiaries
The Home Minister distributed Ayushman cards to 37 beneficiaries and pension-related certificates to 2 beneficiaries. The Home Minister mentioned that developmental work has been carried out in the village Garnala at a cost of 7.85 crores, including road construction costing 1.68 crores, tube wells and pipeline installation and other works costing 52 lakhs, street construction costing 3.05 crores, renovation of all health department centers at a cost of 10 lakhs, and repair and construction work from Garnala to Tundli by the marketing board at a cost of 1.7 crores.
He said that development work is being carried out equally across Haryana. “At this occasion, everyone present was called to pledge for a developed India.”On this occasion, Director of Health Department Dr. R.S. Puniya, SDM Ambala Cantonment Lakhbir Singh, DPRO Dinesh Sharma, BDPO Kinny Gupta, Civil Surgeon Dr. Kuldeep Singh, DSP Ram Kumar, Gram Mandal Head Kiran Pal Chauhan, Ram Babu Yadav, Sarpanch Garnala Gurdav Singh, Gurvinder Panjokhara, Roshan Garnala, Charanjeet Khattoli, Udyam Singh Janeta Pur, Bahadur Singh, Dr. Rishi Pal Tundli, Ravi Chaudhary, along with administrative officers of relevant departments along with other respected individuals from the villages were present.
