Foundation stone of AIIMS to be laid soon in Rewari district : Manohar Lal

Chief Minister addresses Haryana Pragati Rally in Bawal

Bawal(Rewari) : Haryana Chief Minister, Manohar Lal said that the foundation stone of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) would be laid in the Rewari district. All the formalities related to the construction of AIIMS have been completed. While, keeping in view the industrial development of Rewari district, Haryana Government has deposited the necessary amount to the concerned authority for the establishment of Labour Court and to find a permanent solution for the problem of dirty water coming in Dharuhera.The Chief Minister made these announcements while addressing the Haryana Pragati Rally organized at Bawal in the Rewari district today.Earlier, the Chief Minister inaugurated four development projects worth about Rs. 40 crore and laid the foundation stone for 14 projects to be completed at a cost of Rs. 112 crore. In Haryana Pragati Rally, Union Minister, Sh. Rao Inderjit Singh, Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Minister, Sh. J.P Dalal, Convenor of the rally and Cooperation Minister, Dr. Banwari Lal, Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment, Sh. Om Prakash Yadav, State BJP President, Sh. O.P Dhankhar, MLA Kosli, Sh. Laxman Singh Yadav also remained present.While congratulating the people of the state on Constitution Day, Chief Minister said that our democracy, governance and federal structure works only because of the Constitution. On this day, in the year 1949, India adopted its constitution.He expressed his gratitude towards the architect of the Constitution, Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar and all the members of the Constituent Assembly. Sh. Manohar Lal paid homage to all the martyrs on the occasion of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, while paying homage to Shaheed Rao Tularam.
Rs. 7000 crore spent in seven years
The Chief Minister said that during the last 7 years, development works worth about Rs. 2250 crore have been done in Bawal assembly constituency. At the same time, about Rs. 7000 crore has been spent on development projects in Rewari district during this period. To bring in developmental reforms in southern Haryana including Rewari, the present government has worked on the mantra of ‘Haryana Ek-Haryanvi Ek’. Regarding the demands placed in the rally, Sh. Manohar Lal said that along with reviewing these demands at the administrative level, he assured to fulfill all possible demands raised by the people.
Making recruitments on a merit basis is our main priority
Addressing the Pragati rally, the Chief Minister said that transparency in government jobs and recruitment on merit is our motto. He said that during the tenure of the previous governments, the interests of the youth were being neglected. The court had to intervene with regard to much recruitment of the previous governments and many recruitments were also cancelled. Not a single recruitment was cancelled during our government, he added. Whenever there was a complaint of paper leak, the state government had cancelled examinations. During the tenure of the present government, 48 people were arrested for violating the sanctity of recruitment. Our vision is clear regarding making recruitment on merit, violators will not be spared at any cost, said Sh. Manohar Lal.
Following the path of Antyodaya and development is our priority
Keeping his vision for Haryana’s development and while following the path of Antyodaya, the Chief Minister said that a similar blueprint is being prepared in the state for education, health and infrastructural development. Wherever there is a need for schools, colleges, hospitals, it will be met simultaneously without any discrimination. Now schools up to XII will be upgraded. Under the Mukhyamantri Parivar Utthan Yojana, Antyodaya Melas will be organized from November 29 to December 15 to increase the income of BPL families of the state.
Chief Minister gifts development works worth crores to Rewari district
Manohar Lal on Friday gifted various development schemes worth crores for Rewari district. Apart from inaugurating 4 major development schemes, the Chief Minister also laid the foundation stone of 14 development projects. The Chief Minister flagged off 5 CSR-provided ambulances from the rally site to Civil Hospital Rewari for the facilities of the patients. Dedicating the projects, the Chief Minister said no development work would suffer due to shortage of funds.
