Home Minister Anil Vij Addresses Grievances, Orders SIT Probe into Village Sarpanch Murder and Immigration Frauds

Several cases related to immigration fraud were reported, all these cases handed over for investigation to the SIT by Home Minister

Chandigarh : The Home Minister Sh. Anil Vij today redressed the greivances of the people of the state in Ambala. The complainants from Chhichdana village in Sonipat reported the murder of the village sarpanch, who was shot earlier.
The police filed a case, but the culprits haven’t been apprehended yet. The accused individuals were also alleged to have issued threats. Home Minister Anil Vij directed the formation of an SIT headed by the Sonipat Police Commissioner for action in this case.
Similarly, during a public hearing, multiple cases related to immigration fraud were presented before Home Minister Anil Vij. These cases were referred to the SIT for necessary action. Complainants from Narayangarh reported being scammed of ₹5 lakh in the name of sending them to America, while someone from Yamunanagar reported a ₹9 lakh fraud for sending their son to Portugal.
Another complainant from Karnal reported being sent to Israel instead of America, losing ₹12 lakh in the process. The Home Minister directed the SIT to take action in these cases.A married woman from Karnal accused her husband and others in the family of harassment and mistreatment. Despite the case being filed, the police did not arrest the accused.
The Home Minister directed another DSP to investigate the matter. Likewise, individuals from Jhajjar, Kaithal, Karnal’s village of Upjathali, and a married woman from Sonipat accused their respective parties of land grabbing, assault within the family, corruption in development works, and assaulting the in-law’s side. Minister Vij directed the concerned authorities for actions in these cases.

A woman from Sonipat said to the Home Minister with a complaint, stating that her father had transferred 40% of his property in her name, but after his death, her brother continuously threatened her. The Home Minister directed the Sonipat Police Commissioner to take action in this matter.
Similarly, individuals from Narayangarh reported attempts to withdraw a case of assault, someone from Yamunanagar reported non-arrest of murder suspects, and a person from Ambala city reported fraudulent acquisition of their property, among other cases, where Home Minister Anil Vij directed relevant authorities for actions.
