Shimla : Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla presided over a felicitation programme organized at Raj Bhavan today on the foundation day of Tripura, Meghalaya and Manipur states. Lady Governor Smt. Janaki Shukla was also present on the occasion. Sh. Shukla said that the Northeast states were known for their vibrant and unique culture, customs and geographical features.
He said that Tripura, Meghalaya and Manipur were famous for their captivating religious and tourist places which make these states tourists delight. On the occasion, the Governor also honoured the people of these States living in Himachal. Secretary to the Governor Rajesh Sharma was also present on the occasion.
