Deputation of Asha Workers call on CM

Shimla : A deputation of Asha Workers led by General Secretary Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh Mangat Negi called on Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur here today and apprised him of various demands of the Asha Workers.Speaking on the occasion, Jai Ram Thakur said that Asha Workers played an important role during Covid-19 pandemic. He urged them to continue this spirit in future and serve the people with renewed zeal. He said that State Government alive to demands of Asha Workers and would consider their demands sympathetically. He said that during the pandemic State Government had provided an incentive of Rs. 1000 per month from March to June last year whereas Rs. 2000 per month was provided to every Asha Worker for the month of July and August.
