Mukesh Agnihotri directs for curbing drug menace

Held review meeting with officers of his constituency

Una : In a review meeting with the officers of different departments at Haroli in district Una today, Deputy Chief Minister, Mukesh Agnihotri said that all the officers should bring in his notice the problems they were facing in their functioning and also give suggestions or remedies as how to overcome the same.
He also directed to formulate a detailed proposal for strengthening the basic amenities and services in Haroli, Dulehar and Panjawar hospitals, besides completing the ongoing construction work of hospital buildings and to provide him a detailed report of the vacancies in the health institutions in the district.
Moreover, Deputy Chief Minister Agnihotiri underscored the state government’s dedication for bolstering the healthcare sector. He assured the public that the government is actively taking robust measures to enhance healthcare services, including the establishment of new hospitals, the procurement of additional ambulances, and the implementation of new schemes.
These initiatives aim to address the healthcare needs of the people of the State providing them with accessible and high-quality medical facilities, he said. He also directed to formulate a proposal for strengthening the Veterinary hospitals at Lallari and Haroli and also issued necessary directions for dealing with the stray cattle.
Discussions were held to chalk out a strategy for providing tractors to the farmers and exploring the possibilities of erecting tube-wells where ever possible. The officers and officials of the Police department were strictly given directions to initiate measures to curb the drug pedaling and to deal sternly with those involved in drugs.
Directions were issued to install CCTV cameras on Haroli-Una bridge and to increase the patrolling to capture the antisocial elements involved in disobeying law and order. Sh. Agnihotri also directed to work in consonance with the aspirations of the people and the officers and officials should take the concerned MLAs and public into confidence before implementing or proposing any scheme.
He also listened to the grievances of the people on the occasion.
