Patiala/Ayodhya : Former Minister of State for External Affairs & Member Parliament from Patiala Preneet Kaur visited the holy Sri Ram Mandir, the Birthplace of Lord Ram in Ayodhya today.The Patiala MP also paid her obeisance at Gurdwara Sri Nazarbagh Sahib, where the first Sikh Guru Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji and Tenth Guru Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji stayed during their Ayodhya visits.
Talking to the media during her arrival at the Ayodhya Airport, the Patiala MP said, “I am very excited and happy to visit and pay my obeisance at the holy Sri Ram Mandir, the birthplace of Lord Shri Ram ji today. This is a very pious place and has a lot of beliefs connected to it and I feel blessed to have this opportunity.
I will pray to Ram Lalla ji to keep showering his blessings on the people of Patiala, Punjab and the entire nation. “She further informed, “I will also be visiting Gurdwara Sri Nazarbagh Sahib, the historic place where our first Guru Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji stayed for 2 days during his 3rd Udaasi.
Our tenth Guru Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji also stayed at this place during his young age while traveling from Patna to Sri Anandpur Sahib. The then Raja of Ayodhya Raja Mann Singh also presented a beautiful garden to Guru Sahib as a sign of respect, thus the name Gurdwara Nazarbagh Sahib.” she said divulging historic details of the Gurdwara Sahib.
Answering a media query on Modi Ji’s role Preneet Kaur said, “It’s only because of the strong will and leadership of our Hon’ble PM Shri Narendra Modi ji that the opening of Shri Ram Mandir has been made possible. I count myself as very lucky that I have encountered 2 historic moments in my lifetime, one being the Inauguration of Sri Ram Mandir and second being the opening of Shri Kartarpur Sahib corridor which was the long standing demand of our Sikh Sangat. Modi ji has made sure to respect and help every religion prosper in our country.”

ਸਾਬਕਾ ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ ਰਾਜ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਤੋਂ ਸੰਸਦ ਮੈਂਬਰ ਪ੍ਰਨੀਤ ਕੌਰ ਨੇ ਅੱਜ ਅਯੋਧਿਆ ਵਿਖੇ ਭਗਵਾਨ ਰਾਮ ਦੇ ਜਨਮ ਅਸਥਾਨ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਰਾਮ ਮੰਦਰ ਦੇ ਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਕੀਤੇ। ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਦੇ ਸੰਸਦ ਮੈਂਬਰ ਨੇ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਨਜ਼ਰਬਾਗ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਵਿਖੇ ਵੀ ਮੱਥਾ ਟੇਕਿਆ, ਜਿੱਥੇ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਸਿੱਖ ਗੁਰੂ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਨਾਨਕ ਦੇਵ ਜੀ ਅਤੇ ਦਸਵੇਂ ਗੁਰੂ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ ਅਯੁੱਧਿਆ ਯਾਤਰਾ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਠਹਿਰੇ ਸਨ।
ਅਯੁੱਧਿਆ ਹਵਾਈ ਅੱਡੇ ‘ਤੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਆਮਦ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਪੱਤਰਕਾਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਲਬਾਤ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਦੇ ਸੰਸਦ ਮੈਂਬਰ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ, ”ਮੈਂ ਅੱਜ ਭਗਵਾਨ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਰਾਮ ਜੀ ਦੇ ਜਨਮ ਅਸਥਾਨ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਰਾਮ ਮੰਦਰ ਵਿਖੇ ਨਤਮਸਤਕ ਹੋਣ ਅਤੇ ਮੱਥਾ ਟੇਕਣ ਲਈ ਬਹੁਤ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹਿਤ ਅਤੇ ਖੁਸ਼ ਹਾਂ। ਇਹ ਬਹੁਤ ਹੀ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਸਥਾਨ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਨਾਲ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਆਸਥਾਵਾਂ ਜੁੜੀਆਂ ਹੋਈਆਂ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਇਹ ਮੌਕਾ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਕੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਖੁਸ਼ਕਿਸਮਤ ਮਹਿਸੂਸ ਕਰਦੀ ਹਾਂ। ਮੈਂ ਰਾਮ ਲੱਲਾ ਜੀ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਕਰਾਂਗੀ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਪਟਿਆਲਾ, ਪੰਜਾਬ ਅਤੇ ਪੂਰੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ‘ਤੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਆਸ਼ੀਰਵਾਦ ਬਣਾਈ ਰੱਖਣ।”
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ, “ਮੈਂ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਨਜ਼ਰਬਾਗ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੇ ਵੀ ਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਕਰਾਂਗੀ, ਇਹ ਉਹ ਇਤਿਹਾਸਕ ਅਸਥਾਨ ਹੈ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਸਾਡੇ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਨਾਨਕ ਦੇਵ ਜੀ ਆਪਣੀ ਤੀਜੀ ਉਦਾਸੀ ਦੌਰਾਨ 2 ਦਿਨ ਠਹਿਰੇ ਸਨ। ਸਾਡੇ ਦਸਵੇਂ ਗੁਰੂ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ ਵੀ ਬਾਲ ਅਵਸਥਾ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਪਟਨਾ ਤੋਂ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਅਨੰਦਪੁਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੀ ਯਾਤਰਾ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਇਸ ਸਥਾਨ ‘ਤੇ ਠਹਿਰੇ ਸਨ। ਅਯੁੱਧਿਆ ਦੇ ਤਤਕਾਲੀ ਰਾਜਾ ਰਾਜਾ ਮਾਨ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਨੂੰ ਸਤਿਕਾਰ ਵਜੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਬਾਗ਼ ਨਜ਼ਰਾਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ, ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਇਸ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਨਜ਼ਰਬਾਗ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਗਿਆ।”
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੇ ਇਤਿਹਾਸ ਬਾਰੇ ਗੱਲ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਦੱਸਿਆ। ਮੋਦੀ ਜੀ ਦੀ ਭੂਮਿਕਾ ‘ਤੇ ਮੀਡੀਆ ਦੇ ਸਵਾਲ ਦਾ ਜਵਾਬ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਪ੍ਰਨੀਤ ਕੌਰ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਸਾਡੇ ਮਾਨਯੋਗ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਨਰੇਂਦਰ ਮੋਦੀ ਜੀ ਦੀ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਇੱਛਾ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਹੀ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਰਾਮ ਮੰਦਰ ਦਾ ਉਦਘਾਟਨ ਸੰਭਵ ਹੋ ਸਕਿਆ ਹੈ।
ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਬਹੁਤ ਖੁਸ਼ਕਿਸਮਤ ਮੰਨਦੀ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਜੀਵਨ ਕਾਲ ਵਿੱਚ 2 ਇਤਿਹਾਸਕ ਪਲਾਂ ਦਾ ਸਾਹਮਣਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ, ਇੱਕ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਰਾਮ ਮੰਦਰ ਦਾ ਉਦਘਾਟਨ ਅਤੇ ਦੂਜਾ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਕਰਤਾਰਪੁਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਲਾਂਘੇ ਦਾ ਉਦਘਾਟਨ ਜੋ ਕਿ ਸਾਡੀ ਸਿੱਖ ਸੰਗਤ ਦੀ ਲੰਬੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਤੋਂ ਮੰਗ ਸੀ। ਮੋਦੀ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਹਰ ਇੱਕ ਧਰਮ ਦਾ ਸਤਿਕਾਰ ਯਕੀਨੀ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਹੈ।”
